I love reading almost anything with print on it and I make artist books that usually don’t look like books. I like to think outside the box. I am an artist-philosopher-art historian but I still haven’t decided what to be when I grow up. My dissertation dealt with the problem of how we make meaning. When I make art, I laugh and share. When I do philosophy, I ask questions and wonder. When I study history, I become more aware. When I teach, I learn. I once designed and built an adobe house. I try to include the lessons that life experiences have taught me in my classes. As part of my graduate work in art studio, I developed a post modern style I call "Dada Kitsch". I recently became interested in the graphic novel as a creative art medium and plan to create my own as soon as I can find the time to figure out how to use Photoshop.
